KTR said Congress government is responsible for the agricultural crisis
BRS working president KTR criticizes the Congress government for the ongoing agrarian crisis in Telangana. He highlights irrigation issues, water scarcity, and calls for public support for BRS to restore effective governance.

BRS working president KTR has hit out at the Congress government, blaming it for the ongoing agrarian crisis in Telangana. Speaking at a meeting of BRS workers in Suryapet on Thursday, KTR claimed that the reason for the state's crops drying up was not a natural drought but a "drought brought on by the Congress." Criticising the Congress-led government for its handling of irrigation issues, KTR expressed disappointment that not a single drop of water was flowing in the region despite the presence of the state water minister (Uttam Kumar Reddy) in Nalgonda. He further alleged that the government was releasing Godavari water to Andhra Pradesh without repairing the Medigadda barrage due to blind hatred towards former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR). Encouraging BRS supporters to unite, KTR called upon activists and youths from every village to proudly carry pink BRS flags to attend the meeting to be held in Warangal on April 27. He emphasised that this year is the “year of BRS struggle” and urged the public to support BRS to restore effective governance.
KTR said that after seeing the incompetence of the Congress, the public has now realised the greatness of KCR. He stressed that people want the return of BRS to power to get relief from the failures of the current administration.
